This story shows a thread on twitter jokingly asking what our normal boiling ring we use at home can do.

While the several list of what this home appliance can do feels interesting, here is something that might get your attention.

After mentioning basic use of the boiling ring for boiling water, boiling noodles and even hair straightening, she mentioned it can be used to abort pregnancy. Yes, you read right, aborting pregnancy.

At first, people thought it was a joke and the lady was being silly. However, other testimonies started revealing that even secondary school ladies especially those boarding schools.

A lady revealed that while she was in Federal Government Girls College, her seniors use hot water and even iron hanger for abortions.

It starts to baffle you where secondary school students in an all girls school get a pregnancy not to talk of aborting it. I think it's time parents, teachers and guardians take a closer watch at their wards.

These habits are not only dangerous but could ruin the remaining of their existence. I would still like to get more opinions on this.
