I am 30 going on 31.... I have been dating an older guy for the past 2yrs. He is 21yrs older. He has never been married nor has a child (This is one of the  reasons am dating him)..
Plus he is super sweet, caring and matured. I love him so so muchhhh.

He never married was because he didn't date or marry the woman he truly loved.... because he didn't "Man-up" to tell her how he felt& ask her to date him...he knew the woman felt the same too...the lady kinda waited for him because she was hoping with time/age he would ask her...

But He NEVER did. After a while she started dating someone else and eventually married him...(this happened 20yrs ago). So my boyfriend didn't find anyone to love & eventually marry until me.

So, since we are planning to marry, I took him home to meet my parents.....

My parents arent HAPPY with the age gap but they support me as long as i am Happy.(My Bf is same age as Mum & 4yrs younger than Dad).

The first time he came home, he met only my Dad, my father grilled him & expressed his concern but my BF reassured him that it's TRUE love he..

Has for me... Dad just had to accept because of me. The 2nd time he came home he met my mum... and the next thing that happened shocked me.

The moment he laid his eyes on my mum... he fell to ground and started crying.... as in serious loud cries oooo... mumsy & I was shocked..

And wondering what was wrong.After a while, He stood up & walked out after about 10mins of intense wailing without a word to us.

He went AWOL 6months.... yes 6months!!! No one could reach him... I couldn't too. I was in shock.... like a bride that was jilted at d alter oooo....

He finally reached out to me.. and explained his recent Odd behavior... He told me that my mum was the "lost Love of his Life" ..... seeing her rekindled the old feeling and he is determined to get her back AT ALL COST.... because he knows she is not happy in her marriage...

In shock I told my mum.... my mum fainted and was admitted to the hospital for 2 days..... when she was discharged... we had a heart to heart, she confirmed my BFs story, told me she still loved him and she CONFIRMED that she wasn't happy with my Dad.That my Dad knows her...
